Powerhouse Muffins

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! That's why these muffins are packed with nutrients to keep you fueled throughout the morning. They also contain the fiber you need to maintain intestinal comfort.

8  large bananas
3  egg whites
1 1/2  cups wheat flour
1 1/2  cups oat bran
2  tsp baking powder
2  cups oatmeal
1  cup skim milk
1  tsp cinnamon
1/2  tsp cloves
1/4  tsp nutmeg
1/2  cup raisins

1. Preheat the oven to 400°. In a large bowl, mash bananas and egg whites together. Mix in remaining ingredients.
2. Spray a large muffin tin with cooking spray. Pour in batter and bake at  for 25–30 minutes.

    Yields: 6 muffins
