Two Refreshing Juices

Juices provide the concentrated nutrition found in fresh produce, and in a form that’s easy to digest. 

The key to juicing is to drink your creations down as soon as they’re made. If there is any leftover juice, it should be poured into an ice cube tray and placed in the freezer…juice cubes provide a pop of flavor and nutrition anytime!

Lime Greens Juice

Turbocharged with nutrition, this juice makes a great mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

3 celery stalks

1 cucumber

1 romaine lettuce heart

1/4 tsp wheatgrass powder

Juice of 1/2 lime

Juice the first three ingredients, transfer to a shaker cup, add the two other ingredients and mix well to combine.

Beet-Apple Eye-Opener

The humble beet is the new kale…the veggie everyone raves about for it’s myriad health benefits. The slight sweetness from the applies helps soften the earthiness of the beets.

1 medium-sized beet, scrubbed

1 organic green apple, cored

1 carrot, scrubbed

1 stalk celery

Juice of half a lemon


Juice the first four ingredients; add the lemon juice and enough water to make a full eight-ounce glass.
