As part of our Company Mission to improve the world around us, Natures Plus recently began supporting three global charities: The Nature Conservancy, Vitamin Angels and Animal Welfare Institute.
Vitamin Angels believes in the power of vitamins and so do we. As a proud sponsor, we have teamed up with Vitamin Angels to provide lifesaving vitamins to mothers and children under five at the risk of malnutrition — reducing preventable illness, blindness, and death — to create a healthier world.
About Vitamin Angels
Vitamin Angels helps at-risk populations in need—specifically pregnant women, new mothers, and children under five—gain access to lifesaving and life changing vitamins and minerals. Vitamin Angels works to reach underserved communities across the U.S. and in over 60 countries around the world. Vitamin Angels has the highest rating, four-stars, from Charity Navigator for financial accountability and transparency. To learn more, visit vitaminangels.org.
We only have one body to live in and one planet to live on which is why preserving the earth is extremely important to Nature's Plus. We are excited to announce that Nature's Plus is now supporting The Nature Conservancy, the world’s leading global conservation organization.
Jim Gibbons, President of Nature's Plus, is excited about this new relationship and comments: “Our goals are very much aligned with The Nature Conservancy.
As part of our Corporate Environmental Responsibility policy, we not only strive to source pure and organic ingredients for our consumers, but we also seek business partners with stellar sustainable practices and environmental records.”
Gibbons continues, “In addition, we will continue to help ensure preservation and protection of the environment…and the diversity of life that exists within.”
The Natures Plus family hopes to further support The Nature Conservancy throughout 2017 by encouraging employees to get involved with numerous volunteer opportunities from beach cleanups, to trail building and preserve maintenance and other environmental projects led by the organization.
Geof Rochester, Managing Director of The Nature Conservancy notes “we work around the world to address the most pressing conservation threats by using scientific solutions to protect important lands and waters for nature and people. Brands can play an important role in educating and inspiring the public. We are thankful for Nature’s Plus and its support. With companies like this, we can work together to make the world a better place for their contribution.”
The Nature Conservancy protects more than 119 million acres and thousands of miles of rivers worldwide, impacting conservation in more than 72 countries. Nature's Plus, through their contribution supports the Conservancy’s vision of a world where the diversity of life thrives, and people act to conserve nature for its own sake and its ability to fulfill our needs and enrich lives.
